Richard Harlen Henderson, Sr.

Richard Harlen Henderson, Sr., 77, of Tulare, California, departed this life on December 30, 2021. Richard leaves behind six children: LaTonya, Richard Jr., Rashae, Patrece, Ronique, and Tuson. He also leaves behind two sisters: Kathleen and Margaret, as well as 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Esther, parents: Lester and Genevieve Henderson, his brothers: Lester Jr., Samuel, and Robert Sr, and one sister: Ella Mae. His children will always remember the life lessons he taught them, his charm, the way he presented himself - always had to have his pants creased, his creativity, the pride he took in his work, the enjoyment of music and movies, most of all, the love he had for his children, his family, and friends. Richard enjoyed reading the Daily Bread devotional. In the end, when hard times came, he would say, “Just pray.”
