Ramon Manuel Enriquez

Ramon (Kiki) Enriquez was born March 18, 1966 in Ft. Hood, Texas and passed away on June 7, 2022, in Tulare, CA with his wife by his side. He was 56 years old.
There was never a dull moment when Ramon was around. He loved his country, family and friends. If you knew Ramon, you knew whenever you met up with him, he would have a story to tell, and what a storyteller he was. He could talk anyone’s ear off. He loved meeting new people and making friends, and had no qualms telling detailed stories to all around him, even if he just met you.
He was a natural at athletics and spent his younger years exceling in Judo, Little League Baseball and Wrestling. He had an accurate throwing arm like you wouldn’t believe and also swam like a fish. He was fortunate to spend a summer going on trips to the desert, craters and caverns in California and the southwestern part of the United States which he absolutely loved. He played several instruments in band including at least the trumpet and tuba. His favorite teacher was Marcia Sweet, his high school music director, whom he would spend hours with in the band room discussing music and whatnot.
Ramon met Laurie Cruz in 1983, they married in 1994 and their son Patrick came along the following year. Some of his favorite memories were swimming at the lake and camping out with Patrick. He loved listening to music and making and watching fires in his backyard. He also loved working with his hands, especially woodworking, which was a talent he had honed since jr. high school and well into adulthood. He enjoyed his garden and was always sharing the fruits (and vegetables) of his labor with family and friends. He also enjoyed giving away plants and flowers that he grew so other people could enjoy their beauty.
His voice was a presence that ignited any room. The world is now a little bit quieter. Remember him with love.
