Martha Ann Pickle

Martha (Scrimshire) Pickle, 74, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2019 following a brief illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Pickle; and leaves behind her son Jerrod (Diana); granddaughters, Sydney and Hayley; brother, Tommy Scrimshire; and many close family and friends.
Martha was born in Arkansas and primarily raised in Bakersfield, CA; the daughter of Otho and Iris (Kelley) Scrimshire. After graduating from Arvin High School in 1963, she worked in retail for several years. She met her husband, John Pickle, at a donut shop in Bakersfield, CA and they were married on May 2, 1968. She has resided in Visalia, CA for the last twenty three years.
She was a devoted wife and mother to her loving family and friends. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, reading, playing the piano and serving God in a singing ministry.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Sterling & Smith Funeral Home, 409 N K Street, Tulare, CA 93274 on Monday, December 2, 2019. The funeral will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Sterling & Smith Funeral Home. Following the celebration of life, Martha will be laid to rest at North Tulare Cemetery on "J" Street in Tulare, CA.
