Lois Marie Hutchinson was born on September 8, 1942 in Cooper, TX, to the union of Jesse and Bernice Hooker.
Lois attended Tulare City Schools. Lois loved people. She worked numerous years as a health care nurse at Merritt Manor and Tulare Convalescent. She also took care of people at their homes, driving them to appointments, to pay their bills and to grocery shop, always with a smile. Lois was known for her “Peach Cobbler” and “Banana Pudding”. Lois loved the Lord. She attended House of Love Church under the leadership of her brother-in-law, Reverend C. L. Hutchinson and First Lady Savannah Hutchinson, who were also good friends growing up until now.
Lois is preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Doris, her brothers, Andrew and Joey, her daughter, Jody, and her grandson, Olandis.
Lois leaves to cherish her memories, her loving and devoted husband, James Hutchinson; seven daughters, Vivian Perkins, Jeanine Hutchinson, Renee Hutchinson, Michelle Hutchinson, Jaime Hutchinson, Kayla Hutchinson and Kelly Soto; two sons, Andrew Hutchinson and Adam Hutchinson; three sisters, Faye Hooker, Charlotte Hooker and Antionette Hooker; three brothers, Jesse Hooker, Keith Hooker and Richard Hooker; nineteen grandchildren, many great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of relatives and friends.
