Leroy Jones Jr.

Leroy Jones Jr. "Cuda" was born in Los Angeles, CA on February 25, 1951 to Leroy Sr. and Lillie Mae Jones. He departed this life on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at the Piedmont Medical Center in Rockhill, South Carolina. He grew up in Corcoran, CA and spent most of his adult life in Bakersfield, CA where he retired as a Machine Operator in the therforming production field. After retirement, he and his wife Carolyn settled down in Texarkana, TX to start a new chapter in their lives.

He was preceded in death by his parents - Leroy Sr. and Lillie Mae Jones; two brothers – Tommy Lee Jones and Michael Ray Jones; his wife – Carolyn Jones; and one son – Justin Jones. He leaves to mourn a son - Leroy Jones III; three daughters - Oguna Taylor, Shomonique Hendrix, and Lacey Johnson; four sisters - Cathy Ivory, Sylvia Jones, Darnette Jones, and Cynthia Johnson; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
