Juan Santana Garza

Juan Santana Garza, also known as Johnny, was born in Harlingen, Texas on September 30, 1956 to Luis Gonzales Garza and Ramona Santana Garza and passed away on December 24, 2024 at home at the age of 68.

Juan grew up in the San Joaquin Valley along with siblings, and started working in the agriculture fields at a very young age. From picking grapes to tomatoes and everything in between the seasons, Juan was not afraid of hard work in spite of his physical limitations. 

Juan made friends easily because of his cheerful and kind personality. He had an infectious smile and laughter that was contagious when you were around him. It was rare that you saw him upset. 

Juan always had a story to share and loved telling them. He loved his family and spending time with them.

 He is preceded in death by his Father, Luis G. Garza, two Brother-In-laws, Artemio Aguilera and Javier Garcia.

Juan leaves behind to cherish his memories, his Mother, Ramona Santana Garza, his Sibling, Florinda Aviles, Louie Garza, Delia Aguilera, Meli Garza, Ramona Lechuga, Pete Garza, Sofia Garza, Alvesa Garcia and Raul Garza, along with his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and numerous cousins that loved him very much and will miss him dearly. He loved us and we loved Him. 

 Juan will forever be “ The Smile & Laughter of Our Family”
