Jacob Henry Ruiz, 69, of Tulare, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at Community Regional Center Hospital in Fresno. He was born February 18, 1953 in Barstow, California to Alex Sr and Jane (Bejarano) Ruiz. Jacob was a long standing member of Mt. Zion Apostolic Church where his life’s testimony was an spiritual inspiration to all those who knew him.

Jacob is survived by his wife of 51 years, Martha (Rascon) Ruiz, of Hobbs, New Mexico; daughter Esther Restrepo, and her husband Robert, granddaughters Erica, Sophia and Gabriella. He is also survived by his brother, Elias Ruiz; sisters, Patsey Cuellar, Rita Silva, Ada Mathews, and Beverly Silva and her husband, Mario. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sons, Baby Jacob and Ronnie Ruiz; his sister, Sylvia Ruiz; and his brother, Mark Ruiz.
