Isabel V Heredia

Isabel (EZ) V. Heredia was born to Emiliano Lara Heredia and Rosaura Valenzuela on July 8, 1931. He passed away on Thursday July 30, 2020 in Fresno, California. He was 89 years old.
His early years were spent in Las Cruces, New Mexico with his parents and siblings. He would go on to attend high school in Fresno, California.
He was proud of his service with the Army’s 45th Infantry Division. He received a Bronze Star for his service on the front lines during the Korean War.
EZ loved talking to people. He was one who never met a stranger and when he had the chance, he loved sharing about his experiences in the Army. He loved to tell jokes too and reminisce about the nicknames he gave people he met along his life.
Later, he would share about how he gave his life to Jesus in 1989.
EZ was extremely proud of his family and he loved them dearly. He also enjoyed reading, wearing his Army cap, spoiling his dogs and listening to Mexican music.
He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of more than 65 years, Frances (Beza) Heredia, his daughter and son in law; Veronica and Richard Beck, his son and daughter in law; Larry and Janie Heredia, his grandsons and granddaughters; Dakota, Stormy, Blanca and Santianna. His younger brother; Edward Heredia and several nephews and nieces.
A private memorial service will be held at Sterling & Smith Funeral Home in Fresno Calif on August 14th. Interment to follow at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery.
