Herb met Donna, his wife of 60 years, in high school. After their marriage, they welcomed son, Rick, and daughter, Sandi. After Herb retired from Standard Oil Company, they moved to Badger and purchased and operated the Pinehurst Market. Later, Herb went to work for the City of Dinuba, retiring after 20 years. He and Donna then moved back to Badger to be close to his mom, Millie Hasel. He is survived by his wife, Donna, his daughter, Sandi, grandsons, Brian and Darrell, and granddaughter, Amanda, a brother, Harley and sister, Joy. Along with great grandkids, in-laws, nieces, and nephews, and several cousins in Oregon with whom he spent a lot of his youth. He had many fond memories of all of them. If you were a part of Herb's life, you know he was always ready for an adventure—good or bad, he was willing!
Herb is now in heaven, once again with his son, Rick, parents, Harold and Millie, sisters Tootie and Gaynell. Yes, we will miss him here, but we know we have a great cheering squad when our time comes.
