Carrol Mack Barker

Carrol Barker, of Tulare, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2023, at the age of 83.

Carrol was born on July 17, 1939, in Tolleson, Arizona, to General Rufus and Hettie Barker. He was the ninth of ten children.

Carrol served two years in the Vietnam War. He went on to work in law enforcement and was a California Highway Patrolman for 33 years until his retirement in 1999.

Carrol was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his wife Kathleen, his sister Letha Bell (Gordon), his son Jeff (Debbie), his daughter Elaine Jackson (Jeff), and stepchildren Garrick Avila, Dyana McPhetridge (Kurt), and Kiley Thompson (Shane). He is also survived by ten grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
